Val d'Isère is one of the longest established and best known French skiing resorts dating back to pre-war. Val d'Isère oozes class and sophistication and is often considered as one of the world's best records. The village of Val d'Isère dates as far back as the 13th Century and the centre of town features an ornate baroque church.
