The Snow

The skiing in Lake Louise is, as you would expect, exceptional. Catering for all levels of skier / Boarder from novice to Professional, the terrain here is well marked and well maintained.
Beginners will appreciate the wide, well groomed runs which give you perfect conditions for practicing your turns. While Experts will love the aptly named rock garden and the steep and deep back bowls. Boarders will appreciate the abundance of natural hits and the world class board parks.

Après ski

Après ski in Lake Louise is much quieter than Banff, mainly due to the spread out nature of this resort. The Chateau is self contained and has good bars and restaurants. Late afternoon at the bottom of the slopes has a good vibe, and later on there are a few good bars with occasional live music.
