Very highly thought of in the area, the St Gothard is one of the largest hotels in Arinsal and endowed with a disco in the cellars of the building, which, thankfully, are sparingly lit. Some don’t even make it down from the even better bar upstairs, which serves up portions of live music as well.

Located high in the Pyrenees Mountains on the western side of Andorra, Arinsal is an excellent value for money destination. A popular choice with families and young people, Arinsal has a plethora of reasonably priced restaurants and vibrant night spots. A further selling point is its tax free status, with plenty of bargains to be procured in the many shops. Skiing in Arinsal is best suited to beginners and intermediates, with excellent ski schools.
